How to specify and delete multiple Time Machine backups

tmutil delete <path/Backups.backupdb/username/YYYY-MM-DD-HHMMSS> <path/Backups.backupdb/username/YYYY-MM-DD-HHMMSS> (requires sudo privileges)

To specify multiple paths to the backup folders in the terminal efficiently,

• type the tmutil delete command
• select the backup folders that you want to delete in Finder
• drag and drop the selected items into the terminal window. (Space delimited paths works just fine.)
